Getting Personal...

On Thursday during a CNN interview House Speaker Pelosi called President Bush 'a total failure'. Now, can we say the kettle is calling the pot black?

We are heading into the final 26 days of the legislative session and the Democratic-led congress has not passed a single government spending bill. Now these bills are what allow the government to do its daily business. You know, like pay its employees, purchase office supplies, and pay the light bills, those types of things.

President Bush was only making the point or I should say only telling the fact, that this is the longest a Congress has gone in 20 years or so without passing a single spending bill, so it's very clear that the speaker of the house is feeling some frustration at their inability to do so.

Now, during the interview on CNN Pelosi came back with an unusually personal attack on President Bush.

The Democratic-led congress keeps informing people that President Bush approval rating is 29 percent, well they don't tell the American people that their approval rating is only 18 percent, one of the lowest rating the congress has ever had.

Also, I truly enjoy how the Speaker of the House keeps saying that the American people are losing credibility on President Bush. Well Madam Speaker I hate to tell you something, his approval rating has stayed the same at 29 or so percent as where the congress approval rating keeps going DOWN!

Plus, the American people are smarter than the Democratic-led congress thinks they are, the know that the President of the United States of American can only try and get his items to work, the Congress is who has the last word on it, and this congress has not acted in the correct way for the American people.

In just over four months away, President Bush successor Senator John McCain takes his seat on Jan. 20, 2009. And the Republicans take back the House and Senate as for the American people, as House Speaker Pelosi put it, has lost all credibility in the current Congress.
