Today in Washington...

Let's review...

In a vote that shocked the hell out of everyone in DC and Wall Street that turned down the $700+ billion emergency rescue for the financial system left both parties scrambling when the the bill went down, 228-205. However, it did not take long for the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to start pointing fingers.

It all started on the House floor when she did a speech that pointed at all the republicans that they where the cause of all this and needed to step up and fix it.

Now wait one damn minute Pelosi, the last time I checked the democrats are in control of the House and the Senate and if you all really believed there where issues, why in the hell didnt you step up to the plate and put a bill together that would put in safe grauds.

Also, let's take a look at something here, if this was such a great democrat bill, why did 95 democrats vote NO on the bill. Pelosi, before you start pointing fingers you better get your team on the same page, because based on the facts that's not happening.

I do agree with one thing Pelosi said and I quota: "What happened today cannot stand". You are correct Pelosi, this cannot stand. Now stop pointing fingers and start working together.
